Cycling Tour along the Roman Road

Cycling tour 3 days / 2 nights

In a totally healthy way for nature, we seek to mix adventure and exploration. We propose a pleasant mountain bike ride along irregular paths, hidden by nature and its density.

Program

DAY 1: Pick up & Check-in

• Pick up at the combined location, with passage for a visit through the city of Guimarães.
• Check-in Accommodation

DAY 2: S. Sebastião / Roman Road / Campo do Gerês (20,2 Km)

• After breakfast, transfer from the accommodation to the starting point.
• Bike ride through the Geira Romana (Roman road that connected Bracara Augusta to Asturica Augusta), along the Rio Homem Valley, establishing a direct contact with the natural surroundings and observing the cultural heritage in a place with 2000 years of history.
• The journey ends in Campo do Gerês Center, followed by a transfer back to your accommodation.

DAY 3: Torneiros /Mata da Albergaria / Campo do Gerês (19,8 Km)

• After breakfast, transfer from the accommodation to the starting point.
• The ride starts at the hot springs of Torneiros (Spain) and goes through natural paths until the border of Portela do Homem. Next, we’ll cross Mata da Albergaria (Biogenetic Reserve) along parts of the Roman road. The journey ends in Campo do Gerês Center, followed by a transfer back to your accommodation.
